The Disadvantages of Bilingualism

Language revitalization efforts run into that attitude a bit. A lot of its economic, I think, is that people perceive that knowing the national language will give them better economic outcomes. But first of all, that's not always a guarantee. And also, you know, there's it sort of gets informed by this myth that bilingualism is a disadvantage.
