Psychological Entropy, a Framework for Understanding Uncertainty Related Anxiety

The idea of psychological entropy is a good metaphor for what's happening at the level of the brain. Why do we even predict, why do brains even predict in the first place? And the answer is to reduce uncertainty, it's to reduce ambiguity because you can't figure out what to do next. The whole point of a nervous system is to Figure Out What To Do Next and if you can'tfigure that out, it's really expensive, metabolically, and you might die. So I like the metaphor quite a bit.
