Can the Viral Virus Replicate in Civets?
A grocery shopping is a fixture of chinese quisine and markets. There are people fromm rural areas that come into the live markets to sell their product. If if any of those farmers or live near caves that have bats they could actually have been infected by sars like viruses, directly. So both are possible, both ands in the fish market could be a red herring. It's unlikely it's a snake. When you look at the sequence, it's 96 % identical to bat strains. But i can't remember enough about the geno organization to give you an intelligent answer.
