The Importance of Achieving Non-Conceptual Awareness
What is feasible is delineated by the ways of seeing that you take for granted. If we want to understand awakening, enlightenment, liberation as something other than that, then we have to bring forth a different aspiration. That's extremely challenging. But it's that aspiration that as far as I can tell in my life, in lives of my students, in the lives of other teachers who I know, it's the initial aspiration. The exploration of our aspiration is what can free us of lower standards of awakening.
