Apps Don't Update in the Background
On the website, visiting a URL is an implicit quote unquote installation in the sense of you'll start getting permissions requests. So if I have an iPhone and I go to the App Store, I could download 100 Megs, I could downloaded five Megs. We never know because an icon appeared in my screen and I stopped thinking about it. On websites, they don't update in the background. You update it on your server and then the next time the user goes to that URL, they download that app and get that update. There's not really a good way to do that.
