The Four Quadrants of Capitalism and Socialism
In order for a socialist environment to even exist, you must first have a system of justice where people receive the reward. I cannot claim to be compassionate if the action which would have otherwise been deemed compassionate is done not by my choice, but by force. If we were to blow this out into a more nuanced example, then you are a more nuanced framework. No one man builds a society. No oneMan builds a country. There are multiple people who participate in that company. But if no one owns the company, how can those individuals claim compassion when they only possess a fraction of its production? You can't.
