The Control of the Insurrection in Asturias
There are a number of revolutionary committees. The provincial level committee seems to be very much to be in control of the insurrection and it is identified with particularly prominent figures like Bellamino Thomas. I am not convinced that this committee was in control of what was going on always in the insurrection itself. These Committees tend to have a real variety of members of left-wing organizations of socialist, anarchist and communist and even dissident communists as well. So we have this local level committees and then we have the provincial level committees as well.
