unit testing is more of if I wrote a method and I want to make sure that method is returning the right thing, is that kind of the thing that I would use for that? Right. An integration test talks about multiple pieces of the code interacting together different layers that talk to each other. Acceptance test is really from the user's perspective going through the whole system.
