In 1971, after Nixon said, we're moving the link between gold and the dollar, I would have expected there to be a collapse then or within a year or two or three. There was enormous inflation through the 1970s. And they seem to just keep managing to kick the can down the road yet another 20 times. It doesn't matter how many times you shoot it back up, that's what will happen this time around. We need a new Roosevelt, let's say something like that. The military is the only institution in America that is still kind of trusted. If we have elections in 2024, I think the economy will be in free fall. That's what's going to happen
