No one wants to take credit for danishs. They call it, they call it vienna bread, because it's not from denmark. It's possibly due to the fact that danish bakery workers in 18 50 went on strike,. A bunch of austrian bakery workers came into vienna and brought their own recipes. And then when they started to send them other places, they were like, wa therse are great denmark treats. Ithink americans consume more canadian bacon hercapita than canadians do. This is kind of similar to how in the united states, we have a kind of meat that we refer to as canadian bacon, yes?
