In the 90s hundreds of thousands split North Korea. Initially Kim Jong-ir did not think that the fact was about directance vision he thought they were like harmless and as I'm calling it's like we don't even need the oldest people just let them go if they want to go. But over time with the fact that when they go they were not like um forgetting about what happened they were started talking about their life and the oppression that was happening North Korea so then the international committee started aware of a human rights abuses that was happening. Then Kim Jong-IR realized okay they are actual threat then let's make sure that China send them back to us and we don't let them escape
