In one project, the original author of a study said he didn't think it was reproducible. Other studies have looked at whether experts can tell you what to do in order to make it more likely that your implicated. In some ways, i look at thee this set of projects, and it seems like a really, like, impressive, point by point take down of any kind of criticism of replications as a source of information about effects.
