For me mind mapping is one way of doing that I like to explore topics in a visual way because that just engages more of my creativity. If I need creativity I will for sure use visuals also if I need to organize ideas I I will often maybe even take post-its and put it on a whiteboard or start to sketch on a whiteboards and try to connect ideas. Zsolt Viczian is a YouTuber, blogger, and plug-in developer for Obsidian.
