Is America Ready for Direct Cash Payments?

There is growing evidence that the aid so far has been working. Researchers have found the additional money has helped lower child poverty and related problems like food insufficiency. Given what we heard from mit romney and what the biden administration has been pushing for, it looked there might be a lot more money on the way. I didn't think that america was ready for this, or at least policy makers. For 20 years or more, we've been fighting against this. We can't give money to people who don't work. And i didn't see how that was going to be such an easy corner to come out of.
