Transfer Learning in Artificial Neural Networks
We know little about what the human brain does exactly. But we have artificial neural networks that in many way seem to be very similar to the human brain, at least in terms of what they are doing. For example, if you train a deep neural network on 100 different databases of images, it's going to learn a lot about vision in general. There it has learned to learn new things faster.
