Lincoln is one of the rare, more complex figures of the American presidency. He was born on February 12th in 1809 in a law cabin in Kentucky. Lincoln also worked like almost his many jobs and ended up losing the bar because of his own drinking habits. But as you will see, while we attempt to kind of give him another look, he was a very flawed man who often held mutually exclusive ideas at the same time.
