The Importance of ICA in fMRI

ICA can be used to look at the base of the brain where things pulsate all over the place. It's also a data teach you start dependent signal, and so you can get rid of baseline drifts pretty easily as well. And in general Gen Evans papers you can have smooth increases and decreases smooth modulation of your task effect over time. This makes continuous performance tasks much much easier. I think we'll see more of this within the next few years.
