The Evolution of the Yellow Crazy Ant
The yellow crazy ant is one of the worst invasive species in the world. It's a U-social species, so they have queens, workers, and males. Males are haploid; this means they only have one set of chromosomes. When you do genetic on the males, instead of finding only one copy of each chromosome, as you expect in other ant species, people always find two copies of each chromosome.
