Do You See Value in Trend Following Strategies?
We see no other asset that can replace gold bullion. We would expect gold to rally significantly as we get later in the cycle. The last thing would be income generating real assets. Think of rates and infrastructure and even MLPs. I like trend following strategies for a very different reason than long-only commodity strategies.
