How I Learned to Play Guitar

When you first start playing, every day is a revelation. You experienced something that you didn't know existed before. And it's so exciting because all you want to do is go home and play music. I locked myself in my room. I had no social life whatsoever with the exception of going out to clubs and seeing these other great guitar players and great bands. That's really rare for a kid who's, you know, barely 15 years old.
