The Privilege of Going to Universities

Middle class or upper class students carry with them their entitlement. It's unspoken, but we all know what it is. I grew up there reading from your study. These are the words of a young woman you call Kira. Now Kira came from a working class background and here she's describing class differences among the students. You can see their privilege. It bleeds down. They use it in every way. And it starts way back when they're at school. But it just continues here and you can see that bleeding down. So many of our respondents like Bartholomew said it was very easy for them because their prior experiences included going to a private school.
