The Importance of Purity in Architecture
The first moment that it comes is when on a Monday morning you go through future work and you decide what to do and what not to do. It's very nice because there is no design response to any of the things yet. There isn't any sentimentality of design that you want to be precious of. They are at the beginning, the moment of thinking, and they happen during ruptures during the process, of which there is always a fair few. That's when your thinking comes into play again.
