The Race for Mayor of Atlanta

Andre Dickens eked out a second place victory above read with just under 600 votes for a total of 22,153 votes. Ford Dickens Moore had a much better showing with 39,202. Neither of them was over 50%. But neither of them broke the 50%. So he went to a runoff. During the runoff, Moore really courted conservative Buckhead. That's one wanted to do the Buckhead succession, which is built on a whole bunch of legacies of red landing and segregation and blah, blah, blah.
