The Brovnik Police Are Doing Nothing
Brit Lapthorn went missing from the Croatian town of Brovnik in 2008. Her last family members took to social media to express their grief and frustration at authorities' lack of action. Australian Federal Police were contacted by Brit's father, asking him not to speak publicly about her case due to relations with Croatia. The outcry prompted a response from Australia's Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd who empathised with other families whose loved ones have gone missing overseas.
