The Problem With the Indian Cricket System
We're like a farm with ten hectares of arable land and we're only using half a hectare. So there's nine and a half hectares of potential that we're not realizing. The Indian system I would suggest is broad and wide. It would be really interesting to know how they channel that broad and wide into their best 50 yard players. IPL has helped them a lot because now they've got resources to pick and expose 80 players every year to top level cricket as opposed to what they used to do with 30.
