The Bank of England's Forecast for the Future of the Economy

The latest PMI data for the UK showed the flash number of 50.7 down from 52.8 and June does that kind of tell us that the Bank of England rate hikes so far at least are working? Well they're beginning to yeah I mean we've seen up until this point there's not been much change in the direction of the economy over the past year but we haven't had anywhere near the level of weakness that we and almost all other forecasters had been expecting. It'll be really interesting to see how they how they put that in and where it ends up because of course back in May they took the recession out of the forecast. You know there's a question this time
