Pippa's Point - Is There a Future of Omnipresent Energy?

Pippa: If there is a future of ubiquitous energy based on solar panels in space, being in down energy. She says we could be on the coast of something totally transformational. I find that very exciting but can't quite see it when you start. The logistics of actually sending a bunch of miners out to an asteroid a few billion miles away and then gathering up the stuff and holding it back are just too far for me at this stage. It's absolutely fascinating stuff because you do need to think why are the Americans and the Chinese investing so much in space technology?
