What Is the Dignity of the Human Being?
In order to thrive, I think human beings need stories and not stories just of the collective, but also stories of the particular. And so that is why, for example, African Americans have a right to the heritage. Not because it's useful, but because it is,. But what transcends all of that is the dignity of the human person. So there's this difference there, but I don't necessarily think that there's anything wrong with the difference.
