The Politics of Notes on Campus

Toby: I've been thinking about this a little bit in writing the introduction to her collected essays on women. There's a very explicit statement made in that essay about how camp is apolitical. But then the idea of camp begins to recur in essays that are political. She actually mobilizes her understanding of camp in order to describe what she believes ought to be the proper tactics or the most effective tactics of a kind of feminist praxis.
