People who hear electronic music in a way in America have no idea about all this. And basically the... I think the Jamaican influence in British music is not to be underestimated. Like that's the thing that's perhaps missing from elsewhere in the world, is that sound system culture. Back in the days in apprentice, you'd be given like a couple of basic tools and you start to get to work. Nowadays, the kid arrives the first day of work with every tool possible. If you just buy Ableton Suite, you've got everything. It's basically the equivalent of like, you like to do woodwork. All you need.
