Is There a History Behind Your Leadership?
I don't doubt that any Prime Minister in the United Kingdom has a sort of sense of how they will be perceived. But I often wonder whether they themselves have an understanding of the historical nature of the office that they hold. If you were to move to Boris Johnson, I do wonder whether he would he saw himself in a rather grandeur tapestry because of his classical training In some ways. Putin's an extreme example, because you've got this kind of, not a czar, but czar figure who is rebuilding Russian pride. That's what he's aiming for. And that, of course, creates a whole set of dynamics that we also need to build in.
