Advanced Paternal Age and the Risk of Scisophrenia in Children of Older Fathers
Multiple studies have reported an increased risk of scis phronia in children conceived by fathers of advanced paternal age. The causal mechanism is hypothesised to involve mutation errors during spermata genesis. In offspring of males ages forty five to forty nine and less are equal to 50 years, respectively. There is limited information on the relationship between advanced paternal age neuro cognitive ability in offspring. And the available data conflict which makes counselling patients challenging.
