Sarah Jayne Baker: A Normal and Not Crazy History

Sarah Jayne Baker was originally jailed for kidnapping and torturing her stepmother's brother. She was then convicted while behind bars of the attempted murder of another inmate when she was 21. Speaking to Anything Goes with James English podcast in 2020, Baker described how she always felt uncomfortable in a male body. "I hated my body and I just reached out to the staff and I said to them, if you don't help me, I will help myself," she said.
