Is It Just the Sexual, It's the Person?
Whysi says the gay community back then wasn't so much a surprise as a sadness of how poorly they were treated when they came out by their families. And that has a lot to do with shame, embarrassment, because we so focus in on the sexual and not the person. Straight men really can't do that, unless ttheyre goin to pay for it.
