Apple TV Apps Aren't Getting Better With Time
When using the Apple TV in presented with the skip intro prompt on the screen, don't use the middle button at the top of the remote. Use the play pause button instead and Netflix and Plex, that button works. The icon on the screen actually has the play pause icon before the skip text.
