If this is true, that would mean two consecutive quarters of g d p contraction. This is annual, quarter over quarter annualized growth, adjusted for inflation. I have an immense amount of faith in the the fed's ability to control nancial markets and particular interest rates. But i think once you talk about the federal reserves impact on the economy, that's when it gets a lot more dicy.
