The Mathematical Properties of Space
The properties of an electron and a photon are exactly those numbers. And what about the space you see behind me here? What properties does all that stuff is in? Well, for starters, the property three. But space doesn't care what we call it. It's a number. So if you take seriously the idea that so far, the only properties we know for sure are that the stuff that makes everything up are mathematical... Then it starts to sound a little bit less insane, I think, that the idea that maybe it's actually all mathematical.
