Short fiction used to be very important in science fiction, and having these magazines of short fiction and things like that. Is there less of that to day? And we lose t by not having so many of those short stories that can respond to things. Like all literature and like all media, it's just more sort of marginalized and siloed than it used to be. But i still think thisd this is like a reminder. So you can't look away ner!

Paris Marx is joined by Brian Merchant and Claire Evans to discuss their new science fiction anthology, how it uses the genre to critically interrogate the technologies being rolled out around us, and how it pushes back on the desire of tech billionaires to use science fiction to get the public to buy into their corporate futures.
