The War on Drugs and Organized Crime

In 20 ten tensions between different factions within the gulf cartel over drug territories began to heat up. The mexican government tries to declare its own war on drugs and organized crime. But by this time the connection between government and the cartels is too strong. And they can't just snuff out the cartels because they are already impower. From 20 ten to about 20 18, roughly 250 thousand people have been murdered, and about 37 thousand are reported as disappeared. That are victims of this war on crime thath a government tried to wage on the cartels.
