Is There Anything There to Work With in Terms of Stage Timing?

I regard some of that pre-election discussion as stupid but nonetheless it occurred so now Anthony Albanese has basically said well we will increase tax on you know above certain superbalances to take effect from 2025. Is there anything there to work with in terms of stage timing because like the debate around banning new projects has sort of become a bit arid? I think people would accept a shift from the governments what the government says is its position. If they can do that with superannuation then surely we can do it with the climate crisis and understand the representations that are being made by our Pacific island neighbours.
