Social psychologist Katherine lacass explains how they built psychology into model. She says that as people start to adopt more green behaviors, this can actually feedback on the people around them. It makes it seem like it's the morally correct thing to do. And then public opinion is particularly important in influencing policy. The more the public is supportive of climate policies, the more likely those policies are to take effect.
