Exodus: A Replay of Genesis Creation

Exodus sets this story in something like a new Eden and then begins to introduce the major characters. The author of Exodus has gone to such great pains to connect this story back to Genesis, frame the Exodus story as a recreation set against the backdrop of Genesis creation. It's a moment of hope like the most tragic scene from Genesis is replaying itself only this time maybe the plot will proceed differently. Has anyone seen that Netflix series made? Man, it got me. I don't love a TV series but this one got me.
