Is There a God in the Torah?
If we treat the entirety of the canon as this holy relic that has its flaws and cracks, then i think that's the proper attitude with which to approach scripture. Even when you are running into something that is causing a lot of dissonance, that in itself can be a holy activity. It reminds me of nikolay berdev who's my current favourite inspired prophetic voice. And sometimes il rebellion and discontent is the most godly response we can have to a troubling episode.
