The Drug Industry and the Violence of the 2010s

The drug industry is not immune, sorry for the pun, to the vicissitudes of capitalist kind of like technological development. In some ways, I feel that like think of what's happening in like the violence that's happening in 2010s. If you can cut out the middleman, and not have to grow poppies and process them, and you can make a much stronger thing called an opioid, it just needs to be replaced by a lab and some precursor.
