The Importance of Public Spaces
Public spaces are something we could really be offering everyone. It's affordable in that sense. Because it produces so many different byproducts that create a kind of societal flourishing, both individually and at the city and national level. I came away from the book feeling like planting trees was actually more important than I realized. But we do need to be thinking about ecosystems as well.
