The Predicament for Church Leaders in Assessing Their Success
The way you are assessed as succeeding, keeping your job and all those things are a checklist that if you thrive in early career ministry stuff, then you probably are the entrepreneurial, creative singular type. And so there's this tension where when the congregation or the whatever the domination, the body, I was badness in UCC, so it was always the congregation. Maybe spell that out a bit and then suggest different ways of even thinking about framing for success.
