The Vampires Don't Show Up

I love that it takes a while. The vampires don't show up. It's great when two people can just sit and not talk to each other. I think because of these great scenes, they're kind of like two people sharing secret knowledge of stuff about the other sex. And so they're being very frank with each other. They're not beating around it. While there is some of that, a lot of this dialogue is dead on the nose. "It's pretty well structured as far as that goes," says director Tom Hanks.
