Sally Kohn: I learned machine learning through my own plan of self learning. She says she started by reading the textbook and then rewriting it in her own words. After that, she developed an algorithm called contagion which works like a virus spreading. Kohn: You can use your new machine learning algorithm to teach yourself or inspire other people's work.
