The Importance of Emptying Ourself
He Gets Us wants us to be open and approachable so that everyone feels comfortable with asking questions, even the difficult ones. The idea of saying God forgive me for participating in a culture in which I didn't sin, but I've benefited from that sin is totally anathema and it's unbiblical. Jesus's work represents us over Adam's work. Prisons should never be for profit. And as gospel people, we have to have an optimistic, holistic view of humanity through Jesus.
