The Advantages of Venture Capital
Venture capitalists expect a return between 25 and 35% a year over the lifetime of their investment compared to an average of what seven to 10 that the stock market usually returns. When you're looking at emerging companies, you don't really have the luxury of looking at like 10 years of history as they're just starting out. There's a lot of pros though, like the money, the knowledge, the connections. But not all of us have access to it unfortunately.
